Nantwich Words and Music Festival - Words about Words. In Conversation With Emma Lowther

Words about Words

NEW to Nantwich Words and Music Festival: Words about Words. In conversation with 2026 prize winning debut authors, Rebecca Taylor McKay and Emma Lowther, the W&M team discuss the journey of two gripping psychological thrillers from blank page to world stage.

Join us at a Words and Music Festival first, a panel session focused on the power of words and the emotions they can create.

Words About Words is a chance to hear two prize winning authors talk about their books and give us a glimpse of what it took to go from blank page to world stage.

2026 debut authors Rebecca Taylor McKay and Emma Lowther share their stories as writers, and their journey through to publication.

The authors will each read an excerpt from their debut novels, followed by a panel discussion where we will learn about the ideas driving their work as they take us through the early stages of their research, how they came up with their plot points and hooks to draw you in - including the ones that compel you to keep reading to the last page.

There will be an opportunity to buy signed copies of the respective author's books at the event.

The Honeymoon Suite by Rebecca Taylor McKay and Fellow Creatures by Emma Lowther are debut 2026 psychological thrillers gripping readers in the UK and beyond.

This is your opportunity to get inside the minds of these two talented writers.
