About Rebecca

Rebecca Taylor McKay lives in West Yorkshire with her husband and two teenagers. When she isn’t at her desk, you’ll usually find her with her nose in a book, watching old films, or roaming the countryside in her wellies with her dogs. Her debut novel, The Honeymoon Suite was longlisted for the Women’s Prize Discoveries Prize and shortlisted for the Northern Writers Sid Chaplin Award for working-class writers.

The Honeymoon Suite was picked up in a 48-hour six-figure pre-empt in the UK by Renegade (Hachette), followed by pre-empts in Germany and France. Rights have also sold in Ukraine, Russia, and Poland.
