I’m so excited to finally be able to share the cover for The Honeymoon Suite!

Isn’t she a beauty?

Seeing the final book cover is such a nerve wracking moment as an author, and all kinds of thoughts swirl through your mind as your finger hovers over the email attachment from your editor. If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably spent literal years imagining what your cover might look like, and at the last second, you’re seized by a sudden panic that whatever the design team has come up with will be somehow all wrong in every possible way.

It’s a fact universally acknowledged that the most exciting author news will drop when you’re doing the most mundane things. I got news of my French book deal sitting in a vet’s carpark, for example, and the day my cover came in was no different. I was home alone making dinner while my husband walked the dogs, and when I saw the email from my editor, my hands started shaking! But the moment I opened the file, I found myself grinning from ear-to-ear. I did a little happy dance around my kitchen and I couldn’t stop looking at it all evening (pretty sure I burned the food to be honest! I certainly can’t remember what it was that we ate!)

Somehow the finished cover is both nothing like I imagined and yet everything that I’d ever hoped for, if that makes any sense at all?

It’s giving me all the lush Amalfi Coast honeymoon feels, but with that slightly sinister undertone that runs throughout the book - letting you know that all is not what it seems.

Basically, I feel like the design team absolutely knocked it out of the park. I utterly adore it, and I hope readers will too!
